
Altynsarin Institute: drug-free territory
Today, Altynsarin Institute held a number of outreach activities on the topic "Prevention of the use of psychotropic substances."
A special survey was conducted among students, according to the results of which it was noted that 98% of students are against the use of psychotropic substances and do not use them.
In addition, oral conversations, group discussions, an exchange of views on the reasons for the use of psychotropic substances, and the consequences of addiction were held with students on this topic.
These events were held with the participation of students of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Philology.
And Zhienbay Sandugash Bauyrzhanovina, responsible for the educational work of the Faculty of Natural Science and Informatization, read a lecture to the 1st year students on the topic “Drug Addiction is a Social Problem”.
The lecture was held to teach people to be aware of the harm and toxicity of drugs and tobacco that pose a threat to human life, to choose a healthy lifestyle, keep cleanliness, and preserve the beauty of the soul and body.
At the same time, a meeting with students on the topics “No drug addiction” and “Smoking is harmful to health” was also held in the dormitory No. 1 of the Altynsarin Institute.
The main purpose of the meeting is to popularize youth culture, including the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, prevention of drug addiction, education of young people about bad habits.The event addressed topical theoretical and applied problems of social prevention of drug addiction among young people.
At a meeting with the participation of the paramedic of our institute, Bekbosynova Kunsulu Ibragimovna, the students were explained preventive measures, they were warned that it is very harmful to human health and ends in death. She also pointed out that the drug epidemic is taking the lives of millions of people around the world and that this epidemic knows no boundaries, age or race.
At the end of her speech, a specialist in the field of medicine called on young people to avoid bad habits, lead a healthy lifestyle and spend their free time doing useful things. Students received answers to their questions and freely exchanged opinions.
